Helpful notes and reminders aimed at making the repair process smoother and simpler for all parties

  • Drop off time

    8.00-9.00am or use our secure KEY DROP BOX by our roller door outside of hours.

  • Number of days repair

    Times given are approximate. Please ensure you do not make important commitments around this time. We will endeavour to have your vehicle back to you as soon as possible, however there may be circumstances beyond our control that may lengthen the time of repairs.

  • Remove all personal/ valuables from vehicle

    Please assist our staff by ensuring that ALL personal items are removed from your vehicle before leaving it with us. This should include effects of value as well as items such as empty containers, packaging, litter and garage remotes.

  • Roof rack & locking wheel nuts

    Please assist our staff by ensuring any keys for roof racks, tow bars and locking wheel nuts are in your vehicle as they may assist in the repair process.

  • Child car seats

    Please be aware that we may need to remove any installed car seats during the repair process. Unfortunately, we are not authorised to re - install them and this will need to be done by yourself or a professional installer if needed.

  • Check if you have a policy excess

    If you do have an excess, this must be settled either with your insurance company or ourselves UPON DROP OFF OF VEHICLE. Acceptable forms of payment are: By card, bank transfer or cash.

  • Hire car

    We do not have hire cars. Should you wish to have a hire car whilst your vehicle is getting repaired please book this through your insurance company (if on your policy) or organise directly with the hire car company. If you have a not a fault claim you may be eligible for a free replacement vehicle, please contact our friendly staff.

  • Transportation

    We do not provide a drop off/ pick up service however a Taxi or uber service can be organised through some insurance companies.

  • What is being repaired

    Insurance repairs are completed on items as authorised by the insurance assessor. Bissell’s Paint and Panel do not make the decision on what may or may not fall within an insurance claim. Any queries relating to this should be directed to your insurance company assessor. Customers who have additional private work they wish to have undertaken are asked to discuss such work with one of our estimators.

  • Condition of vehicle on arrival

    Upon arrival of your vehicle, it will undergo a condition received report and it will be re photographed. Please also insure you have a minimum of a quarter of a tank of FUEL in your vehicle.
