  • I’ve had an accident what do I do?

    If your car is drivable, call us to book the next available appointment for us to have a look at it for you.

  • What if my vehicle isn’t drivable?

    If the vehicle is not drivable you can organise personally or through your insurance company for the vehicle to be towed to our premises and we can take care of the rest.

  • Can I get a repair quote over the phone?

    Unfortunately not. There are a number of variables when quoting vehicle damage, we need to see the vehicle to provide an accurate estimate..

  • Do I have to contact my insurer? Or can you do it?

    Yes, you will need to contact your insurance company to inform them of the accident/ incident. They will then provide you with a claim number and any other necessary information to do with your claim.

  • Will I have to pay an excess?

    This will depend on your insurance company and your current policy. Your insurance company will be able to provide this information to you.

  • When do I pay my excess?

    In some cases when lodging your claim with your insurance company they will take payment for your excess over the phone. If not, your excess will be payable to Bissell’s Paint & Panel upon drop off of your vehicle. Please note payment of excess if applicable, MUST be done before vehicle repairs are commenced by Bissell’s Paint & Panel.

  • Do I have to get more than one repair quote?

    In most cases no. As we are an approved repairer for insurance companies, one quote is generally all that is required, however there are some circumstances where two quotes are required. We will inform you if this is the case.

  • Where is my vehicle stored?

    Your vehicle is kept in our secured, locked and alarmed premises, under cover.

  • How long will you need my vehicle for?

    This depends on the nature of the damage. Factors such as the type of vehicle and the availability of parts will impact on the length of time it takes to repair your vehicle, however we always aim to have your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. A quality repair job requires many steps and though our estimators are some of the industries finest, certain types of damage become apparent only after the vehicle has been disassembled. In some cases, this may mean we need to revise your vehicle’s completion date. We always give you our best estimate of the time required when we first write your estimate. During the repair process, we will keep you informed of the progress of repairs and of any unforeseen matters that may cause a hold-up.

  • Am I able to hire a car while my vehicle is being repaired?

    You will need to check with your insurer to see if a hire car is provided as part of your policy.

  • Which payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa and Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash.

  • Do you provide a warranty or guarantee on vehicle repairs?
